Looking forward, Max Crosby and Jamison Howard, along with Michael Mears, recently formed CHM Development Group, LLC. This company, headed by Mr. Mears, a retired telecommunications executive instrumental in development of wireless phone systems in many South Carolina and Georgia markets, and whose many responsibilities included acquisitions and development, will be responsible for all land acquisitions for Max Crosby Construction and the Tidewater Group LLC. Tidewater is a commercial development company the partners founded and have been active in for the past three years. A current Tidewater Group project is the Ashley Crossing Professional Center, a 30,000 square foot office and medical condo facility in the West Ashley area of Charleston. "We are trying to grow the company for the benefit of new partners coming in the genesis of their careers in this business. We plan to be a leader in our market for many years to come," Max and Jamison agree.
