The 2016 Peach Festival will be our 58th festival. It is always held on the 4th of July, unless the 4th falls on a Sunday; the festival will then be held on Saturday, July 3rd.

The South Carolina Festival of Discovery is the premier event of the year sponsored by the Uptown Greenwood Development Corporation. The event started in 2000, and has become the most highly anticipated event in the region. The festival celebrates the history, culture, food, arts, crafts, music and people that make South Carolina and Greenwood County such an incredible place to live and visit.
The 2016 festival will offer fun for the entire family and will be held Thursday, July 7th through Sunday, July 10th.

Eleven years ago, several downtown fine art galleries created a partnership with supporting local restaurants to put together an event that would raise funds for local art programs. The Palette & Palate Stroll is also dedicated to the appreciation of delicious food and the amazing variety of fine art that Charleston has to offer. The popular summer event will take place on Friday, July 15th from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

Downtown Pageland
Pageland is known as the Watermelon Capital of the World; and each July, the Pageland Watermelon Festival highlights a summer season full of activities. Thousands of visitors come from all over the southeast to enjoy the parade, beauty pageants, music, food, and crafts.
